My first view of the Blue Whale in
Catoosa, Oklahoma.
Smile for the camera!
So this is what Jonah saw on the way
in, huh?
A section of the original Mother Road
in Foyil, Oklahoma.
The world's largest totem pole,
Foyil, Oklahoma.
This is the gift shop and
museum. The man who did all of the totem pole carving was a master
at his craft. He also carved beautiful inlaid fiddles, some of which
are in the museum. During his lifetime, he carved 300 fiddles, each
out of a different type of wood. They are absolutely amazing!
The base of the giant totem pole
is a turtle. He doesn't look too happy about
all that weight on his back!
Looking up inside the giant totem
pole.
This rusty old guy reminded me
very much of Red from the movie Cars. Isn't he cute?
